Matthewma 01-26-2003, 07:01 AM Hi,
Been working on this guy for awhile and there is still a lot to do and fix up... sorry he's in pieces right now.
I would just like some comments and criticisms/suggestions to help me make him better. Been having trouble with the whole adding detail to the face but trying to keep it youthful thing, so if anyone has a tip or two about that as well, it would be appreciated.
Also, in the end, I would like the legs to somewhat furry, but as you can see by the current visual representation of the mohawk... I have yet to do hair/fur :)
Thanks,
- Matt

could you post a few different angles of him? that full body angle is really hard to see the detail of the shoulder.

Anyone?
If it's that bad; just cut into it, I can't get better when nothing is said.

I like where this model is going, it just needs more detail. (Not that a good model needs lots of detail, but I think that’s what you’re trying to get.)
I know what you mean about the face, it’s really tough to get detail in without making it look...well... too detailed  (I just woke up!) If youthful is what you want, look at kids from 0 to about 5, and compare their face shape with that of someone, say mid 20s, 30s... Round, unwrinkled faces are one characteristic that strikes me as youthful. So, try making his cheeks wider, and chin rounder... see if that helps.
Are you planning on using XSI cloth on those shorts? If not, add in wrinkles like crazy, and make it hug his body more at the top... just make it look like gravity is pulling on it. (You can always use the cloth plug-in to deform it, then freeze it  )
Oh, and I forget what those muscles on the side, under the armpit are called... whatever... just add them on that model.
Shoulders look pretty cool from behind, but the front is messed up. You gotta make it look like the top muscle wraps underneath the front one... um... if that makes an scenes... just try and make it look more like "ripped muscle man" then tone it down to taste.
Keep it up :buttrock:
