Yo this is an animation iv been working on recently in Max. I think your all gonna like it :) Just lookin for some critics. Anything would be useful.
I know the character is kind of bull-legged. It's a problem with the rig and is currently getting fixed. The lights in the scene got accidentally keyed too =P.

Hello Nathan,
I think you're off to a good start. You might actually get more mileage by simplifying things a bit - a few more holds to register poses might help add some contrast to the pacing, for example. I would expect the little guy's movements to get more panicked and extreme as the walls close in. Don't be shy! :)
A case in point would be the final jump into the hole. Take half of the frames you have for the movement and use them to spend time in the anticipation and at the apex of the jump. It will add lots more punch.
Best,
Kevan

LOL awesome concept! A+ for the idea.. and i love the whole indiana jones kinda grab for the book at the end! good job!
however i do agree with Kevan.. it could use a lot of clean-up. the walking needs a lot more weight, and could easily be quicker. and when hes looking around the actions could be more dynamic, like he could hop when he notices something startling, etc.. but yea i like it! keep workin on it
