what program are you using? for instance it's just a setting in the deformer in cinema 4d to apply to within box. in lightwave it's either in the modelling stage and setting a falloff there for a twist, or it's in how you apply the deformer later... the list goes on..

hi,mdme

I am using Autodesk Viz 4. It's almost same with 3D max. I am very beginning in it. Can you tell more specifically how to do it? Thanks a lot! I am so glad you tried to help me. :)

well, if all you're doing is trying to make an arch the easiest thing right now would be to:

1) pick one box and collapse it (either editable poly or editable mesh) Delete or hide the 2nd box to get it out of the way.

2) delete the cap face at the top of the mesh

3) mirror the object, and then line up the halves

4) attach the two boxes (if not doing the mirroring in sub object mode)

5) weld the connecting verts at the top.

Sounds like a lot, but once you do it a bit it'll become second nature, and really fast.

Hit the F1 key... look for a section called "Learn to read" and read that... then read up on a section called "Learn to check manual for basic questions before asking" Once you have done that :p... look up lofting if you are using 3dsmax.
