I'm using the Misss_Fast_Simple shader on an object, and I'd like to add a velvet look to the shader, what's the best way to do this? Misss_Fast_Simple doesn't have an incandescence attribute.

You could just plug it into the ambient slot, no? You could also use a mix8 node.

Which blending mode would I use for mix8?

Test different blending modes until you find something you like, don't forget to connect the lightmap to the mix8layers SG , otherwise the sss won't work.
