maxtor 08-25-2006, 03:33 PM I have been a long time member but have barely posted anything. I know....I know there is no excuse.....just my own laziness. But now I have decided to be more active on the forums. Here is some examples of my works in progress. Please feel free to give me some feedback.

The hannibal lector line is very nice indeed. So is the sexy female walk. The last piece with the two guys on the couch looks a little like you were over drawn. In other words, its obvious that you have serious skillz based on your first two pieces, but the third looks like you bit off more than you could chew or like it might have been rushed. 20 seconds of 2-person dialog with camera cuts is quite a challenge, and I don't think you quite hit the mark on this one. Don't get me wrong, its a solid animation, its just not nearly as tight as the first two.
So, my suggestion would be to keep working on the third piece to really nail it. However, if this is an older piece (explaining why the others are better), I'd say move on and start a new one to replace it. I find its usually bad karma to I revisit old, stale work.
Its definately a solid demo though.

Thanx Buzzy,
The funny thing is the second dialogue piece is the more recent of the two. I was too eager to try out a new character and get something done. Therefor I rushed it a bit. In all honesty I never really liked the character ( the bald one one the right....not the Theo rig) or really felt much for the dialogue. I may take your advice and move on....I just don't feel it on the second dialogue and it obviously shows.
Anyways I really appreciate your feedback.
cheers!

What is going on?.....47 views and one critique. I don't care if the feedback is possitive or negative. It will all help.

Not really much to critize, they're both quite good. Maybe someone more experienced can help you, though.
