hi aiko
what means "unstable" for shot 4 and 6? the key isn't good? I think they have a quite nice key, unfortunatly the codec isn't the best so the tornado quality is mostly reduced

Nice reel there.
The tornadon didn't look so great - you might consider trying decreasing the rock size and ramping up the number of them.
On another note, what did you use to pull the keys?
Andrew.

thanks
I used Shake for one shot and Combustion for the other. Maybe I 'll follow the suggestion for the tornado.

Hi their,
with unstable i meen that it looks like that the tracking is off, it looks like its not folowing the enviorment.
I could be wrong but thats what i see.

hi there,
the first shot's compositing looks a little uncoherent: lighting and color matching is good but i guess there is a problem with the pose of the character: he doesn't seem to sit into the car but it rather seems to be floating in it. the shadows looks flat: you need a 3d (even rough) model of the seat behind him to have a correctly cast shadow.
in my guess the tornado is ok.. not perfect but looks good to me.
i agree with aiko about the last shot, it's out of tracking, but.. really nice blonde!

The problem with the tracking on the 2 green screen shots is that the background is flat. I'm assuming it's just a keyframed 2d image...hence it moves like one.
Maybe camera mapping onto a 3d model of the environment would help. I know it's a pain in the arse but such are the things in life
You're definately on the right track though mate. Also, REALLY nice keying.

hi ephixx you are right, but I've done only the compositing, i can change a bit there but no chance to change the 3d.
hi Soe, I have to work on the green screen shot, I know..

Do you think I can use this reel for a junior compositor position?

hey---
i thought the rain looked pretty good...nice work----the keys are also pretty good...the tornado needs some help...more on the 3d side than anything...and i totally agree with soe, the closeups are really flat because there isnt any midground, looks like just live action and plate. cameral mappingi definately an option---
cheers!

NIce work man, I like compositting too. So good to see thoes reel. That was cool.
The rain one looks cool but I think you can put reflection on the ground to show wet ground. Now I feel like just white bar is falling down. And in the car, I feel like the shadow of the guy is little week. Because if you look at a guy's chest, the really strong light is hitting. This should make shadow really strong. And shadow itself looks flat too. Maybe you can distor little bit.
anyway, all over looks interesting. I can tell you have lots of skills. Nice work man !!
