Your pencil drawings are very nice, and those people doodles are interesting. ^^!
01-31-2007, 02:16 PM
the metal print looks interesting, what exactly happened there?
Its a bit like an engraving. Its quite nice, and you can even do it on other materials than gold, like an Ipod :)
Oh, thanks Jen :)
01-31-2007, 10:35 PM

01-31-2007, 10:35 PM

02-07-2007, 02:25 AM
I wouldnt say that I always agree with the colors. Tried to paint in black and white first nd then color the lat couple of weeks.
Heres another test with that though boring motive :)
02-07-2007, 05:15 AM

02-08-2007, 04:43 PM

Ill see if I manage to work my way back to London :)
Heres tonights little speedpaint, a friends niece:
02-19-2007, 05:41 PM
You call this a speed paint? That's an offense to all of us worker bees who get crappier results after nights of work!:)
I love how you mix sharp, comical-style outlines for features with soft natural blending. Ends up looking very funny and endearing!
02-20-2007, 12:11 AM
Did a really quick one, cheated with the hair :)
02-25-2007, 05:38 PM
Hey Alice! You have some really nice sketches here. The frog one is just -gorgeous- and I really like the stylisation in the hair in the last two. Oh, and the one with all those heads is really cute, some great expressions there :D More please! :)
02-28-2007, 03:09 PM
Hey, thanx! :)
Heres yesterday evnings painting
02-28-2007, 11:03 PM
Great textures! I just don't really 'get' the light in the eyes, is it a reflection? Or just very high quality colour lenses, hehe.
03-01-2007, 09:23 AM
she has a goa'uld in her :)
03-01-2007, 10:45 AM
i'm sure if you really want to you will! great sketch of that baby girl!
07-26-2007, 06:05 PM
My husband keeps nagging me to actually record some speedpaintsessions and I thought I'd paint a bit of the harry potter cast.
Started with Harry yesterday but did feel a wee bit dirty while searching for references and finding pictures of an 11 year old right next to the naked-with-a-horse version of the same boy :shrug
Prolly took me 2 hours in photoshop.
10-16-2007, 12:28 AM
Wee for sketchbooks :)
10-16-2007, 02:23 AM

10-16-2007, 04:07 PM

AnimZiggy! Im just fine, got married this summer and live in Gothenburg untill december atleast. How are you? And what are you up to these days? Good to se you!
Eponine; Kempegrejt :D Thanks!
I painted a portrait of Minnie driver and recorded while painting, so heres the portrait and the youtube video of it.
10-16-2007, 06:30 PM
a very nice mix of stuff here, the clown sketchs remind me of the classic cartoons of the 70s and 80s like the pink panther, one thing i note how clean your sketch book is, mine when they exist are like a view into the very pits of chaos since i use them more as a record for ideas.
the portraits are very solid work indeed, very clean and crisp.
10-17-2007, 12:23 AM
Well, my real sketchbook is more a sketch...box where i put all papers, forms, receipts and stuff I've doodled on. Doesn't mean that the digital version have to look the same way :)
10-17-2007, 09:46 AM
Very nice work, I like your style.
10-17-2007, 10:44 AM
grattis pa brollopet, va kul!! ( he he i hope i make sense) I was actually thinking about you as 2 friends of mine are off to Iceland for a week, I was gonna go too but I got some stuff I need to take care of in Athens and if I don't go my mum will kill me lol
it's been much better this year been at Cartoon Network, The Senate (yea film work) but now it's quite again but I'm taking it easy. Got a new reel and just chilling lol...
btw i love the student one! :+)
10-17-2007, 11:29 AM
I like your stuff here Alice very clean and crisp
10-19-2007, 12:09 PM
Made perfect sense :)
Cartoon network sounds fun!
I had to put my little kitten to sleep yesterday, hope he has use of those wings he´ll get :(
10-19-2007, 12:25 PM
tyvar for lille Borish... I'm sure he lived a wonderful life. As for CN if you go on my website you ll see what I ve done there its on my reel :) xxxx
10-23-2007, 08:29 AM
The english word sorry is hard to translate as theres "sorry about borisch" and the "im sad to hear about borisch" and the later can be translated whilst the word "sorry" (tyvär) in swedish have little to do with expressing sadness. (Did that sentence make any sense?)
Anyhow, he was sick, but I do miss him.
Heres a pumpkin carving from the daily sketch group :)
10-24-2007, 02:19 AM
Wow!!! :applause: Awesome pumpkin carving, the effect of illumination is spot on!
10-28-2007, 03:52 PM
I where about to enter the avtar fightclub when I realized that I dont REALY know how to draw my avatar so I sketched on that one a bit.
10-28-2007, 04:24 PM
Hey Alice! amazing work you have here. :applause: Congratulations.
10-31-2007, 10:16 PM
Yikes, little girls with knives creep me out! Anyone seen Ju-On : The Grudge? If it's your thing, do you know Nevada-tan ? Killed a girl from her class with a boxcutter because she dissed her blog on her own blog. They call her Nevada-tan since she was wearing a sweater from the university of Nevada in the photo which accompanied the newsarticles. As a result the sweater was sold out for a while.
03-10-2008, 03:06 PM
First a little tutorial on painting mascara eyelashes in photoshop;
(I'm learning Premiere, hence the little youtube videos.)
The first clip I made, I really should go back and reedit it but I already had a girl who made a comment on it wanting it, so I'll accept that it loos like poop :) :
03-11-2008, 03:33 AM
Alice this work is amazing. Your ability to interpret reality in your own way is fun and impressive.
You actually give me a lot of motivation to start sketching more.
03-11-2008, 06:54 PM
Hey, thanks! :)
I drew a portrait of Woody Allen yesterday:
03-11-2008, 07:00 PM

06-21-2010, 11:27 AM
I dug out my watercolours and made a little painting couple of weeks ago:
06-21-2010, 01:38 PM
Awesome! Really nice water color piece. Your drawings are incredible as well. I really like the Woody Allen piece. :)
06-22-2010, 11:43 AM
I'm about to do something I have never had the time to do before, the next 3 months I get to spend working on the character/world in the last painting. It's going to be so awesome! So looking forward to all the bizarre little machines she will build :D
So, start of July, I'm freeee, FREE!
06-16-2011, 08:38 AM
yeah, that went well. I had a call from an old client who wanted something done. It sounded fun, I couldn't say no. One year later, I still haven't had enough time for my own projects :(
BUT! I started doing some painting in the daily sketch forum again, yay!
06-21-2011, 09:03 PM
More daily sketch :)
06-22-2011, 01:01 PM
More flying pose :D
"It's a long way down" from the daily sketchgroup.
Gave it some more love and attention
06-22-2011, 01:04 PM
Oh, and I had the large Sofij scanned and worked some on it digitally :)
01-30-2012, 02:46 PM
Hard to see that its pink, thats one lady who isnt vanilla in profile on photos. Was actually quite hard to find references of her. Anyhow, from the daily sketch thingy.
01-30-2012, 03:54 PM
