POSITION TITLE: Graphic Designer
REPORTING TO: Art Director
POSITION SUMMARY:
Become a part of our exciting and fast-paced design team!
As a Graphic Designer at WizKids, you will be responsible for the design of packaging, logos, ads, marketing collateral and web elements. Working with the Brand Teams and other Graphic Designers and Artists, you will help shape the creative direction for one of our current successful game lines or help define the look of a future game property. This is a great opportunity for someone to join a company that is focused on innovation and growth. If you are creative and enthusiastic team player with the ability to pay attention to details, this job would be a good fit for you.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have either an AA degree or BFA in Graphic Design
• At least 2 years experience in Graphic Design
• Portfolio that demonstrates strong typography, color & layout skills that show originality and creativity
• Design experience in packaging, logos, marketing materials, ads, and web
• Thorough knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite for the Mac. Flash and DreamWeaver knowledge is a plus
• Able to manage multiple projects, deadlines
• Proficient with an Xacto knife
• Experience in publication layout is highly desired
• Experience in the Game or Entertainment industry a plus
