Treyarch is hiring a lead character modeler for our upcoming Bond project! We have just finished Ultimate Spider-Man (http://www.ultimatespidermangame.com/) and Call of Duty 2: Big Red One (http://www.callofduty.com/bro/index.html/). Treyarch is located in a recently renovated space in Santa Monica, CA, just minutes from the beach. The team enjoys weekly basketball games, afternoon foosball, Friday morning bagels, great benefits and competitive salaries.


Duties:

Character modeling (mostly editing and working with 3D scan data)
Character rigging
Custom LOD creation
Work with Lead Shader Artist in creation of characters shaders
Managing our character modeling team
Work as a liaison between outside contractors and our team
Maintain characters validity in-game through out the duration of the project
Preparing characters for submission to licensees for approvals
Requirements:

Must have shipped a minimum of 1 title as Character Modeler ideally as a lead

3+ years experience as 3D modeler in games



Preferred Experience:

Shipped titles concurrently on today’s consoles PS2/Xbox/Game Cube

3D Studio MAX modeler, experience with other 3D packages helpful

A strong knowledge of human anatomy and muscles structure

Applicant should be organized, a team player and a proactive communicator

Solid understanding of game creation limitations and dependencies

Able to demonstrate leadership skills
