This is a room I have been working on for past few days, I fit alot of the textures onto 1 1024. I am posting to get ideas on what to add on to the room. I plan to add a kitchen on to the room.

i would say the obvious error when looking at this room is the wires for the fan. there should be two or three wires that would go into the center of the fan (http://www.terrik.com/projects/ceiling_fan/IMG_1991_40.jpg).

also aside from the comments in my poorly drawn picture, the room need to look more dusty, and most of the texture look a little blurry.

a great place for additional photosource is www.cgtextures.com they have very high res images to download for free. sadly though it's got a limit of 30 megs perday.

The more recent shot looks 10 times better I think one thing you need to think about is lighting...

The more recent shot definitely looks dirtier, but I think I'd bring a little of the color back into it. Just make it less saturated than before. I'd also paint your specular highlights so that the grungy crud on the floor isn't shiny like the tile.

btw Legopirate is an awesome name. Takes me back.
