View Full Version : Particles Collision Object problem

Im trying to make a jet of water hit an object... problem is im not sure if the Collision Object tab works how it should, im just adding the object to the tab and not changing default Collision Object settings.

Here are the vids to show you the problem:

The particles detect the object, but dont function how they should, The first vid uses a messiah Primative sphere, the second an .obj

Any one had sucess with collision objects and particles? If so some insight would be greatful.

I’m not in-front of Messiah right now, but for starters I wouldn’t use the internal procedurals in Messiah for collision. Adjust the ‘particle collision radius’ (I think its called that) to get tighter collision. Also ensure that the collision object is selected in the appropriate tab. I’ve successfully had particles flow through tubes and contained within objects. I suggest that you post your setting.

Ahh "Collision Radius Scale" was set too high.
