View Full Version : 9.6 Reflections

Ive been tryin to figure this out on my own for a while now but havn't gotten to work it properly. Whenever i make an object with a reflective material and it reflects itself, the reflections are twice as bright. See what im talking about in the middle where they meet is a large red spot. Thats the spot that they reflect. You guys know how to fix it?

I'm curious; did you enable fresnel reflections too by chance?

Ya I did. Even if i turn them off it still does that.

Are you sure that's incorrect? How bright are the other objects being reflected? Is that an environmental map you're using there (if so make sure you've got exclusive checked to enable relfection occlusion).

its one object that reflects itself. If its two spheres that reflect eachother nothing wierd happnes. It only happens whenever the object reflects itself. The background is a sky with luminace hdr material.
