View Full Version : Maya Question
Harregarre 08-22-2006, 03:21 PM Hey,
I've never seen this question anywhere or even the option being named but is there a 3d-lightbox of some kind? Like a 3d ghostimage of the previous and next frames (within a range). Would be really useful I think. :)
Thanks in advance,
Harregarre

Select the object you'd like to ghost, then navigate to the Animation toolset and select Animate> Ghost Selected [option box]
There you can specify the number of frames before and after that you'd like to ghost, etc.

On maya, under animate, there is the ghost selected option, this gives a range of frames in which ghosts of an object are shown. You can configure ghosting options on the animation preferences, under animation.

You coul also try GhostingTool from Mark Williams, its on highend3d.com. It has some other nice options as shading, transparency, and wireframe view in colors.

Okay, thanks I'll have a look. :)
Edit: Couldn't find the tool on the highend3d.com site. Do you have a link to the program or a more specific page?
