Title: Father and son

This dramatic piece shows a man, moments after he has fatally shot his own son through the head.
The story behind it is that he's a powerful emperor in a fantasy world, who had no other choice than to kill his son, purely because of politics. The son had joined an anti government rebel group (hence the marking on the shoulder), which the father can not be linked too; it would jeopardise his position as emperor severely if anyone would know of his son being a rebel, only leaving him the option to kill him in secret.
I tried out a painting technique I picked up from a thread by Nebezial, (thanks for that!) and I like the way it worked out. I sketched, inked and colored it in Photoshop using my Wacom tablet.
