Hi everyone, I'm new to digital painting and to this great community as well.

I've done some pencil drawing when I was younger and now I decided to have a try at digital painting. Got myself a Volito2 tablet - great quality for the money, especially with some tweaks to the surface that improve pressure accuracy dramatically.

The attached image is my latest drawing. It's supposed to be an apple. It's also my second or third try at digital painting so don't be too picky ;)

There is something wrong with the shadows/highlights but I'm kinda stuck on that. Some hints on fixing that would be appreciated.

The second major headache is that Painters' blender brushes pick up empty space as white. So far I've been getting around this by blending way further than needed and then erasing but that feels kinda awkward. I suppose that's just a matter of one click somewhere but I am used to Photoshop much more and Painter is still a bit of a mistery to me.

Any comments are welcome

Hey kipsus, I have a Volito 2 myself. What are tweaks you are talking about?. I'm curious. :p

I'm still doing research, so far the results are very good. I might post some pictures or detailed instructions on how to ruin your tablet
