View Full Version : help with cloth for 3dsmax 8

kind of new to this cloth simulation for 3dsmax 8, but basically i have a simple animation with a model walking around and trying to get cloth to simulate with it..however when i try to simulate, it gives me an error (Simulation failed: could not solve equations) before it simulates a single frame...any help would be much much appreciated.

Sounds like your cloth geometry is not simple. Cloth meshes need to have fairly uniform sized triangles and not long/thin triangles. Also, look out for zero-area triangles.
