i don't know what happened, all of a sudden any two points I select and run edge extrude, the points go off somewhere else ! i tried on all x y z and they do the same thing !! HELP...
also the points look weird now too, you can see lines and some places you can't see them... don't know what happened

Try de-selecting all points and then running "optimize". Just a though.

yep, there's a known bug with 'edge extrude', if you 'select all' in point mode then 'optimise'... then run 'edge extrude again... it should work

Just a thought - do you have any form of snapping on? If so, turn it off. That's of course if it's not a bug related issue.

yeah that happens to me also...i just physically move the points where they belong and then it doesnt happen again...once per model
