Hi there,

I am having problems achieving a continous surface without visible seams. I am using the birail tool to build the surfaces and attach them afterwards with the default settings. I have experimented with the blend value but it didnt change much.

What do I have to do, to get a really smooth surface ?

(I know there is the Sculpt Geometry Tool, but if i use smooth (flood) the surface gets facets. )

In the future for cases like that post also a screen shot of the surface topology since its layout is what defines surface curvature. Most helpful display of NURBS topology is to right click on the object and choose Hull

The surface curvature at the attachment is defined by the position of CVs and EPs on the curves used for the birail. It is easier to fix this referring to the surface smoothness after the birail; either by moving the hulls away from each other around the problematic curvature or doing the equivalent by editing your curves affecting the surface through history
