Hey, I don´t like the new scaling gizmo in MAX5. I especially miss the ability to be able to right-click the spinners in a particular axis to line the vertices up. Is there a way for me to change back to the MAX4 version gizmo?

I think you can change back to the old version in the preferences. I don't understand what you mean about right-clicking the spinners. Sounds like you're referring to the transform type-in, not the gizmo. You can still get to the transform type-in by right-clicking the move, rotate, or scale buttons on the toolbar.
