Title: Pera & Byzantine Matte Painting

Software: Maya, Photoshop, Vue

This is a teaser matte painting for an upcoming movie still not yet announced. Still it's very early in production and expected to begin the shooting next summer.This painting is a very early matte also, just to create an overall environment.

Painting shows the Byzantine Empire before Ottoman Period along as the town of Pera which is an Ottoman occupation.

I used Vue and Photoshop to create&paint the landscape. The buildings were created on Maya except the big tower on left(Galata Tower).

By the way I've just became a member here,finally :) now I can show all my work submitted here on CGPortfolio.C&C are always welcome thanks for viewing!

Konseptini çok beğeniyorum. Bende şu 3D işini çözsem de bunların 3D versionlarını tasarlayabilsem :)

I think SeHZaDe say that you must put it in 3d gallery ... If you send the 3d element , all can decide about it , that it must be in 2d or 3d gallery .
I think Its not important the important thing is the good work .

very nice velarion. I think you can improve the element integration a bit aswell as depth. The lighting on the background mosque is so nice. Why not putting that light on all the other buildings ? keep it up.
