View Full Version : particle/particle collisions
maggog 01-24-2003, 11:22 PM Does anyone know where I can find some info on particle/particle collisions? I have looked and all I seem to find is particle/geometry information. Maybe I am not looking in the right places.
Oh and as a maya student and a self-proclaimed comic fan, The Hulk has me worried. The cg hulk model doesn't seem to blend into realtime very well.
Just my two cents.

hi,
there's lots of information regarding particles and collision issues in the 'dynamics'-section of the manuals.
anyway, just in the case you're looking for interparticle collisions, which aren't calculated by maya out-of-the-box, check out these workarounds:
http://www.maya3d.dk/links/tutorials/index.asp?filterT=Category&filter=Particles&alf=&order=Added
hope those are helpful!

I have been to highend before but it seems my tunnel vision hid the info I was looking for. This has been really helpful - thanks lowkey
