3dmd.net has just published new references of Soviet Union military vehicles and weapons.

Some of the pictures are named incorrectly. For example, the picture below is not a BTR as the site claims, but a BRDM (Boyevaya Razvedyvatelnaya Dozornaya Mashina):

No problem! I think it would be a good idea to go through all the names and check that they are factually correct, and maybe include some additional info, such as whether a machine in still in use by the army, what military operations it has been used in, etc etc.

Vladimir Golovin, this kind of information would be really helpful but I don't know where to get it.

Andy -- great photos! As for where to get the info, Jane's Information Group is probably the most reputable source. Here's their section on combat vehicles (I hope the registration is free):
