Good Eve, well I thought that I would make a hit man, and am trying to loosen up a bit, experimented with some brushes till I saw a shape and ran with it - but my gun looked like a funny shape and then I turned it to a calling card - Professional all round bad guy for hire.....Interstellar at that!.... wtf?

I'm feeling you...I just ran with the whole funny-shaped gun thing :D
That said...that's one big-ass hitman. It looks like he's meant to take out solar systems, not people ;)

Advanced the idea of The Replacement Killers and did Chow Yun Fat and Mira Sorvino in a kind of manga/cel style. Got bored near the end, which is probably visible - but I still like the general idea. 90 mins - PS. Saved over my 35 mins copy by accident :(

I wanted to do something silly and cute to counter my original "assassin" response to "The Professional" and here it is. Painter, oil brush, 25 min.
A professional wooing machine.

35 min and about 1hr and 30. Started this in Hollywood and touched it up on the flight back to Indy. I'm going to Gnomon School out there in about a month. Shading could be better, but I'm glad to get some practice in.

Hats off to everyone who DIDN'T do a picture of a spy or an assassin. (haha)... I tried to do something original, but just gave up after a while. This is not fanart, but now that I look at it, it's a little "La Femme Nikita?" Well, whatever......

Trying to learn some shortcuts in PS to speed things up- still slow, though.

PS. ~45min:

My first post in daily sketch. I had a spare moment at work and painted this. It's the hand of a professional (mine, painting this image.) Painting with the mouse is rather like spreading colour with a spatula. It's very difficult to draw contours. Shame I only have a tablet at home. I crossed the time limit before I painted the mouse part, overall time about 45 minutes.

I can't find out how to attach an image so that it shows in full size. How do you do this?

It requires you to upload it to a web server before you make your post. The way I do it is to hit the yellow mountain button http://forums.cgsociety.org/images/editor/insertimage.gif when creating the post, and then put in the link to where I uploaded it. Good Luck!
