I don't know if I saw the fixed one but the feet are still sliding. Also he's quite stiff in the hips and there is almost no up/down action on the hips. Secondly when he is about to step on the flower he slides forward. It looks like you miscalculated the number of steps towards the flower and has to 'fix' the last 20 cm by sliding him forward. I like the idea but there's still some work to do.

Thanks for the comments, This one doesnt shwo the fixed foot slide.

after he stops walking, Im trying to get it to look like he is trying to stop, but his momentum causes him to fall forward a bit, and that foot skips up to keep his balance, without stepping on the flower....

If thats not reading, I have work to do.

Hey Seanizzle. The thing that stuck out to me immediately is the sliding foot problem, so I'd like to see that before commenting. I think that was really throwing everything else off. Also, it seems like the torso is moving at a constant pace the entire time, with no rest period, or slow in/out. The timing on the head bob could probably be pushed to after he hits the step, rather than being in perfect time with it. That way, it'll look more like the bob is a reaction to the walk and give a better sense of weight.

Good luck with school!

Okay, at least the feet don't slide when they are on the ground but it still oesn't really look like he's walking. I don't know if you know the sport called 'Langlaufen'? I suggest lifting the knees a bit more so it doesn't look like he is actually Langlaufing. ;)

Second thing is the moment on which he goes like 'Oh, noes! A flower!' is too early. He is one step away from the flower and sort of jumps towards the flower with his foot in the air. Might be better to let him make another step and then when his foot is actually just 1 cm above the flower let him do the 'Oh noes!' thing.

I hope this will help you to improve your animation.

Im gonna go check out the sport right now, that sounds interesting.

It makes sense to me that he does that action to early, I think it wouol be more urgent if he were closer, almost stepping on it.

About langlaufen: http://youtube.com/watch?v=fMApA8_Kgiw

This is a video of a bad langlaufer. (He uses his knees too much. But I think you get the point. :P)

About the second thing; exactly what I meant.

I love to see how you revise those things. :)

P.s. Oh, I watched the stuff on your website. Quite cool, man! In which year of your study are you at the moment?
