I'm working on a female character at the moment & would like to get it rigged & rendered in M:S. I usually shy away from animation but figured that I've spent so long modelling this character & only dabble with the renderer in M:S so I should really make some effort to learn the animation tools.
Rigging the body is not much of a problem but I'm used to using LW's endomorph's for faces, not bones. I'd like to do a bone setup really as it seems to offer more control & is obviously non-linear, unlike morphs. So the question is.....hmm, where do I start?
firstly, what is the best way to setup the model? Currently I have the mouth in a relaxed position, slightly closed, The teeth & tongue are currently on a seperate layer & the eye-lids are half closed (or half open depending on your outlook). Each eye is also on a seperate layer.
I'm thinking that it would be better to have the mouth open for rigging purposes & the teeth could then be included in the same layer?
any help would be appreciated, I know that you're a busy bunch.
