CGTalk - HDRI in XSI 2.0

Hi there!

I've been experimenting with HDRI and I can't get good results like the 3DMax or Lightwave users.

I connect my hdr picture in the color and radiance connections of my constant node in the RenderTree. I can see the effect but it don't looks bright like the map i used (kind of dark). Of course
Final gathering is on!

Can someone help me?

not sure but i think you don t have to plug it in the color, and you have to plug a mathbasic between the map and the constant to
control the brightness of the illumination

I tried it not long before, and I found that I have to plug it in the color channel, or I cant any reflection of the source.

And you can raise the value in the indirect illumination tag above 1 if it's too dark
