simple yet fairly elegant at the same time. The lighting is pretty good. You can tell that its an image in the window, but I suppose thats ok. Honestly I would like to see more in this scene to make it more interesting and not so generic. Right now this picture is just like everyone elses out there. You need to add the "you" aspect to it! I would also like to see some nifty bump mapping on the stones on the ground! that would be nice. Regardless you have a pretty nice picture here! Keep up the good work, I like what I am seeing! see you around

I really dig this. You've got some really nice texture work happening. I like the large fluid imperfections you worked into the modeling of the walls and stoop, feels very authentic. A lot of artists who work on still life and scenery tend to over-prop their scenes, and everything is placed juuuuust so. but, this has a very spartan and warm feel about it. You've worked in more detail than it seems at first blush. Very nice.
If I had to pick at anything, it seems the background image (while nice) is out of perspective with your scene. If you were on a higher floor, the horizon would really start to flatten out, so my eyes are having a hard time reconciling this with the parallax of the window.
Otherwise, excellent work.
