hi :)

finally i finished some of the vfx-shots for my personal little movie. still a lot of work to do with the remaining shots but here's the first one (out of 5 finished shots) i'm fairly happy with:

QT sorensen 3 (c. 3Mb) (http://www.pixellusion.de/movies/015_002.mov)

DivX 5.01 (c. 1Mb) (http://www.pixellusion.de/movies/015_002.avi)

hope you like it. please tell me what you think about the alien shape and color, matchmove (done with realviz matchmover), animation etc.

btw: sounds are temporary... but it's amazing, sound will add so much more reality to the shots - that's why i posted the videos with sound of course ;)

DAMN cool!! Wow! Though I always thought alien hunters would drive a Mercedes Benz or something similar big rather than a Fabia :D

I would have had a last death bounce on the creature for the last gun shot...

Looks pretty cool, but I think the character may be too symmetrical.

Looks really cool! good job, i think the animation could use a little more tweaking, but other than that the only thing that looks a little off to me is the shadow on the alien... it doesnt match the one the car has... maybe its just me?

Great work! But how can you kill such a little helpless alien :cry:

The alien seems to be a little too blurry. It's not as sharpen as the video footage.

I like it alot. The only thing that bothered me was not the composit, but the guy doing the shooting. Why did he run out into the open and closer to the alien to shoot it? I think if it were me I'd use the car as cover. The divx was pretty choppy, but other than that it was real cool :thumbsup:

Nothing, but an old Tatra or at least a Superb would look cooler ;)
