Im really digging the sweetness youve given the character. They seem child like in their respones. As the responses are good, their just too premeditated. Try giving him/her more time to get the picture in his/her head before reacting. Good start!

I agree, the characters got a fun personality.
Some things I noticed:
-The butt scratch should be subtler, and offset the simultaneous eyes looking to the side. This pose would be great if he was grabbing something out of his back pocket sneakishly, but he's not.
- The left arm dangle is extraneous.
- when the ball first falls, his eyes are already tracing it. he shouldnt see it untill after its on the ground.
-When he jumps in the air, you've got some great stretching action, but the stretch shouldnt happen untill after he starts to decend. and the feet are in an un-natural postition when he peaks. A couple frames after his mass starts to fall, key his feet higher, like you've done so well with the arms.
- with the last head turn, great anticipation, and arcs. The eyes should look more at the ball. their not reading as they are now.
-Great posing of the hands, very cautious/ suspicious of him.
This is fun to watch, great work!

Good animation overall :)
But watch your fundamentals. Especially the ball. It slows down when it gets closer to the ground (?). I am talking about the distances it takes between each frame when it is first introduced to your scene. It should accelerate by time, not deaccelerate. Also, I think it would be really cool to see a little bit more life in the ball. What if you add some quick/snappy stretch&squash to your animation when the ball pops to the bigger ball. Then moves around the guy or somestuff like that..
good stuff anyways :)
