Ok, this one is really torquing me. I can get an IK chain and an FK chain to work, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how in the hell to get the following movement if I rotate only the root of the IK Chain. Please see the included screen cap of what I am working with.
What I am wanting to do is rotate the root bone and have bone 2 and three follow and rotate accordingly while bone 4 stays stationary and does not rotate. This is for an articulated are mechanism.
I can get one or the other option to work, but cannot seem to get bone 4 not to move in FK and in IK, I end up moving bone 4 anyway to get any movement. What am I doing wrong? Any help here would be appreciated.http://www.node3d.com/Untitled-1.jpg
