View Full Version : transferable custom marking menus

hey mel masters, does anyone here have any clue how to make a custom marking menu that would transfer with a project? i have a character and i want to have marking menus to change visability of its controllers but i want this customisation to be transferable between systems without the animator having to do anything. having a custom menu per curve controller would be an added bonus, i saw it once on a TD demoreel and it looked awesome. eg. having a marking menu on the hand controller to turn IK on / off.

i know theres custom right click menu per item in the zooToolBox but thats the list menu and not the gesture based one so its not as fast.

Hey, I havnt tried with marking menus before but perhaps look into scriptNodes... Have used it a few times for smaller scripts, perhaps you could get MMenus working with this.. my 2 cents :D
