I had this problem two weeks ago, I tried everything, reinstalling C-dilla, max, all.... then this worked:

try deleting all the ".dat" files in the c:\c-dilla repertory (Hidden files, so go into the options of your explorer to unable the "show hidden files and repertories" I think)
