It's still in wery early sketching stage

I whant to color sheme to be cold and darkish.
I feel something is wrong whit the composition, and the Knight is too small.
I whant the horse and the knight to seem powerfull and maybe a little mystical.
Lets see, Winter? Fall? Rain! or atleast a cloudy sky
I sort of whant to go whit the winter, so I can get the frost smoke out of the horses mouth and making the contrast a little stronger maybe. But that might be too

I hope you people don't mind me posting all studies that belong to this project in this thread. That'll be Horse Anatomy, Horse studies, Light Horse armor studies, Knight armor studies, weapon studies and stuff like that.

Now that I've written this "far" I know whats wrong, heh...I think I started working on it a little too early, since I'm still constructing the image in my mind ^^. I guess I got a little eager, this is a subject that has interessed me for a while now, about time I do it :).
I'm going to make this thread anyway, so I don't loose motivation on those studies and so I know it says "winter?" above "fall?" and not "menter?" :S

Hey this looks like it could be great even though its in such a rough stage. But I like the WIP threads that start out like this - now we just need to keep coming back and asking for updates :D

You said that you wanted the knight & Horse to look powerfull. Would it perhaps help lowering the camera-angle a bit so we're looking up a bit - getting the feeling that the knight is about to ride his horse straight over you any minute? Dunno - jut a suggestion - but look forward to see the updates

I think it may fit better in a profile format, I'm also liking this pose better :)

Overchord- I like what you said about getting the feeling the knight is about to Ride you down. Not sure if I sucsessed, but I've tried to do that whit this pose :)

I like the new pose  It gives a better feeling of horse and rider coming at you.

The horse and rider are both a bit slender in the sketch, but once they get padded up with armor etc, I'm sure they appear stronger/more powerful.
