Hey everyone, I'm having some problem with the Paint soft body weights tool, I need to paint the goalPP values but nothing happens.
Here is what I've done:

I created a NURBS plane which is going to act as a cape, then I turned it into a soft body, and after that I added a Air field.
When I press play the whole cape move away, but that's pretty obvious, so I guess I should use the Paint soft body weights tool, to paint the areas that are going to be affected by the Air field.

The problem is that when I paint on the surface, nothing happens, the values doesn't changed, I tried to change the value slider, switched between, replace, scale, add and smooth...but nothing seems to happen.

Does anyone have a answer to this?

I've talked to a few others, they got the same problem, this seems to be some kind of bug in Maya 4.5 I haven't tried it in 4.0 so I dont know.
It's really anoying, and I wonder how they could miss something like this.

Why don't you guys try it out, create a NURBS plane, make it about 10 in U and V, make it a soft body, and go to the Paint Soft Body Weights tool.

For me it turns black, that's pretty normal I guess, since it's the same with skin weight, but when I paint it should turn white, but it doesn't.

Never mind people, I fixed it.

But if someone else run into this problem, here is what to do.
When you create the soft body, chose, Duplicate, make original soft. Then check Make non-soft a goal.
