I think maya had a xaml plugin allready for a long time and lightwave too..

Well the interface is very similar to Swift3D and it looks like it is very easy to integrate the exported files with Microsoft Expression family, so lets see where all this goes, i am certainly keeping an eye on it. I tried the Microsoft Expression programs and they are good, i admit i was surprised.
