Hey everyone, here's an image I created for my younger brother for his graduation from BUD's. I still can't believe I have a brother who is a SEAL. Plus, he's my "little" brother, yet he can kick the crap out of me obviously. Anyways, one of his instructors compared the SEALS to Jedis in terms of their focus, dedication, skills, etc. Plus the fact that they are true "warriors." So I got this idea to make this image, and I gave it to him framed at his graduation. Done in Painter, inspired by an old Alex Ross image. Just thought I would share. Later.

Paul

looks really nice Paul:thumbsup:

my only critiques is that the jedi face looks too blue....
I think a little more of his skin to tone would show up..
only my opinion though...

overall a good piece..:)

:surprised

...

I can't think of a nice way to say this right now so forgive the bluntness. I would have found a better position for the lightsaber or put the jedi's hand in the picture.

Sorry - The rest of the image is good.

Awesome work.:applause:

A small comment.
To make the saber blade authentic, the core should be white and the glow still remains blue.

He, there are some things we just don't get to see about the jedi in the SW movies... so who knows how accurate this is ;)

Just kidding, just kidding :D
It's a great piece PaulSchoeni
Change the lightsaber and it's close to perfect :)

You guys are hilarious...that never even crossed my mind when I made the image! The lightsaber position needs to be changed for sure...innocent mistake I swear. FUNNY, but it still needs to be changed. Hey finding stuff like this is one reason why these forums exist right? Thanks for all of the comments.:)
