Hi Everyone,

This is a work in progress. I would appreciate serious critique on this. The premise is this cool 70s guy is walking along (music to compliment), he hears some chirping, feels his afro, and a bird comes whizzing out of there. I'm afraid you'll have to use your imagination for the bird, his clothes, and that thing with the eyes (I'll fix it later). What I'd like to focus on is his walk and gestures. Thanks!

Hi!

Well, the Movements are funny, swinging hands, touching the head. It looked really for the 70s look. The typical music videos and so on.

But only the end of the video iss a little bit to fast. What does the cylinder replace? A bird or something? Well, I think the movements, when he stops, iss a little bit to fast.

But, well done :)

They is very sympathetic!
I think the same thing as donelgreeko. I will add just that notices the right arm made a strange movement before touching the hair. Can be also you to make that the legs and feet are less parallel during walk... but it is a detail.
Good continuation.

This is a start, but I'll be perfectly honest with you. It needs alot of work.

The very first thing I notice is that the hips have no movement other than the up and down movement. Hips should sway left and right to balance the body on whatever leg is down. Hips also rotate up and down on each side according to which foot is raised and which foot is lowered.

The hands and arms also need work. I see where you want to go with this, but some of the keys are misplaced or the curves aren't adjusted right. There are random pops in each of the arms. Depending on how many keys you have placed, deleting some or smoothing out your curves may help you.

The legs also seem to pop. By the angle, I'm not sure exactly what is happening here. I'm thinking that maybe you are keeping the feet down a little too long before they rotate up on the heels and then pick up off the ground.

Keep at it! :)

Thanks for your feedback. I can see what you're saying about the pops and awkward movement. I'm thinking it might be that I put too many keys in some places, and not enough in others. Perhaps the angle isn't doing it much justice, either.

I appreciate everyone's input!
