Okay, I have a problem with attaching 2 NURBS surfaces.
I'm making this tree, and I made it into 2 surfaces.
here is a picture of how I want them to connect, as you can see on the red arrows

and this is what happens when I chose Attach Surfaces

As you can see, it's something wrong there, wrong isoparms are connecting eachother
how would I fix this?

Thanks!

I have a pretty good knowledge of Maya, so I hope I can help you.

You can try one of these 2 ways. (I had this problem last night :)

1. Try selecting one of the Nurbs surfaces and reversing the direction in either the U or V Direction. Then attach.

2. Select only the 2 adjacent isoparms then attach.

Hope I was of some help.

First off , your surface looks messed up , do you have the same number of spans in both sides? , if not rebuild your surfaces with the same amount of u and v isoparms.

mwo4life is right , you should reverse the direction of the isoparm to correct that problem.

hope this helps

Thanks guys.
It didn't help with the revese thing, but it worked when I selected the isoparm on each surface and then attached those, but the other side didn't want to work to connect so I had to Open/Close it.
