Hi Everyone.

This is my First Post, I only joined yesterday.

I’ve just started using C4D a month ago. and so far so good. But Im having Trouble with this Model's Textures. If you look at the image you will se that on one wing there seams to be the pattern of a moths wing, Well that’s cause that’s what its supposed to be. I’ve fiddled with the tile and size settings. But only one of the wings the image comes through. The rest looks all stretched and comes out as lines.

Any tips, suggestions advice on this project would be very much appreciated.

One other thing. On the Thorax im using a hyperNURB, but one close rendering it still looks Edgy, so what I did was Use the Make editable tool. Then re-use the HyperNurb. This worked fine in the fact that everything was very smooth. But takes very long time to render now. I’m wondering is there an easier way that won’t use as much Resources

I really need help! Hope to hear from you guys soon.

1. Sounds like you need to rotate the texture, select the texture tool then rotate.

2. Double click (mac) on you hypernurbs icon and increase the raytracing settings (this will only take effect in your final render), to see it in real time, increase the eiditor settings also
