My 19 inch is small? Dang. I thought my old 15 inch was small. Oh well, guess I have to upgrade again.

i for one think this is a good thing......someone needs to kick the damn industry forward......people seem to like to linger in the past forever!!!!!!! If it were up to most people we would still be using paper tape drives and freakin reel to reels.......noone ever wants to move forward!!!!!
Im glad to see companys taking the initiative to say....ok this tech is old now........no more! All it will do is push the prices of the nicer monitors down! If you can no longer buy anything under 21" then that means supply and demand will mandate that the price that was the 17" (the smallest) will now be the price of the 21" and will increase from there (as less people will be interesting in the 21" if they go on up to 30"!)
Good job sony keep the damn industry on its toes!!!!

well...for one thing, Sony's patent on trinitron expires soon, which may be a deciding factor in this move. Also, making LCD's wont push the industry forward unless they are competitively priced.

and unless they can make them colour stable and accurate ;)
