Hello!
I'd like to present promotional stills from the movie I am working on right now: http://www.LeonTheMovie.com .
By the time of a few weeks I should have completed a one minute trailer.
Then I'll also show a 'MakingOf', that will present complexity of the scenes and cars' rigs.
Most of the trailer is being rendered at the moment, but I fix many things all the time.
Everything is created by me. Starting from the concepts through the modeling, textures and lighting, to the cutting and postprocessing.
I've benn working on this for two years now, it's long but it's also lots of work to do.
All the buildings are 3d models, no camera mappiung was used. Most models and sets are already finished.
Now i can devote more time to animation.
Many details, that theoreticaly could have been texture-painted, were modelled. For example shops planks and pavement.
I had to setup all the pipeline by myself. There are many things that come only up during full production, ie. file managment things, render scenes etc.
I have the impression that the animation shows off not even 25% of the effort put in, but whatever
The street-shot's average render time per frame is 2.5 hour. Those scenes contain over 560 models divided into 50 layers.
Each car is animated with it's own rig. The rig allows to independently move different parts of car when braking, moving wheels at road-bumps etc.
