I would gladly appreciate any help please :)!

What I'm attempting to accompish: Four turrets aiming at one target without manually keyframing one at a time.

Targets: Four Spheres

Moving Parts and Linking Info:

Turrent Base (linked to Fighter)
Main Barrel (linked to Turret Base)
Telescoping Barrel (linked to Main Barrel)
Is this possible?

If your using Maya, aim constrain the turrents to the ball, the aim constraint is in the animation tab under the constrain pulldown.

If using max use look at constraints though it would be very easy to just manually keyframe it.

Use the look at constraint on the barrel of the turrent with the target being the sphere, though there will be some tinkering to get the rotation correct.

Accually off the top of my head look at constraint with the barrel being the child and make a dummy as the target that way you can move the targets around and the turrents will follow, could even use a link constraint to link the dummys to the sphere when yo uwant to aim at it then link to world after you have finished shooting so they dont continue to look at the sphere and go crazy/inverted.

KyleG: Im using max

dARKCLOWN: Great Idea. I will try it.

Thanks for your help guys! Once the solution is implemented, I will post the result (good or bad).
