Hello everyone. I'm working on a promotional piece for myself, and also learning simple character animation for the first time. This is the standard beginner's squash and stretch "flour sack" study, only using a hamburger instead of a flour sack.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Looks pretty nice. IMHO I would (since it looks as if it making such a change in direction) "wind up" a little more before the last spinning jump and hold a little more in the air before coming back down to give it a little more "zip".

I haven't done much critiquing so I hope that helps.

Good Job!

very fun!

In my mind, the streamer should be faster when it wind & unwind... it's a detail ok but i think that can make ur animation more dynamic.

Have fun^^

Hopping Burger (http://www.jonhuhn.com/burger/burgerhop_060824-1.mov) (1.6 meg)

Thanks to all for your input. I made the changes, and definately thought it was a big improvement.
Since then, however, I decided to change the premise of the animation quite a bit, and I also added the gag at the end (rendered in full detail as opposed to the low-res detail of the hopping part)

The new animation is meant to be a burger-restaurant commercial that pokes fun at McDonalds. It'll make more sense when you see it.

I'd like comments on how to improve the animation, especially towards the end when the burger does a spin, and then comes down and hobbles for a brief moment (like a gymnist that doesn't quite "stick" the landing). That motion doesn't quite look right to me.

Thanks!
