View Full Version : Vehicle: Deep sea Transport Submersible
PhilWesson 01-23-2003, 06:30 PM Hey everyone,
This is something that I was working on. Trying out underwater scenes 'cus..well, i've never tried them out before. I've got another smaller submarine on the way, (not textured yet), and a sea monster that will be causing some trouble.
Anyway, let me know what you think:
C&C welcome
Thanks in advance

Im not the best 3d person...im no one to judge..but i think you texture needs some work, and your right engine lookslike its facuing inwards.

well the model lacks alot of detail, and the textures need work too. I think you need to add some more detail to the model first and go from there, like a cockpit, pannels, bolts, more detailed engines...etc. Right now it looks like you got the rough shape down and then kinda gave up...sorry just needs more detail..try and push it a little more

while i totally understand where you're coming from spirit, i guess i should have said something about the scale of this. Its supposed to be huge, like aircraft carrier size. So you wouldnt see a cockpit and small details like that. I still want to improve it, so i'm definatly taking your opinions to heart. As for the textures, I suck so bad at them. However, I'm not really sure how far the cam will be from the object, so i dont know how much difference it will make. But again, I'm still working on it. Guess it should be in the WIP section.

There still needs to be more detail, whether it is giant or tiny. It just looks very smooth, and primitive-derived (is that a term?).
