Kinda nervous posting this with some much other great artwork around but I figured it was time to get some comments before starting on the textures :) This is for a class short film project. C&C more than welcome. Thanks

Very nice modeling job  What process did you take in modeling her (image plane, freehand, etc.)?

well I started off modeling fom an image plane that the concepter had drawn, but the 2d cartoony look wasn't translating well into 3d so I ended up just freehanding it.

Nice job. You should post some shaded pictures of her. Overall I would say nice job.

another update...shoes are finished....I think we'll probably end up changing the color of them as it's kinda hard to see the detail in them being all white.

As far as the hair goes, it's nothing really complicated. I just estruded a bunch of boxes into position and converted to sub-d's. Hopefully these shots will illustrate it a little better. Yes this is a toon shader. I modified the lighting a big to give it a slight 3d look so it's not so blown out looking. Anyway hope this helps you out.
