Ok so the original topics question has been answered so I'll just use this thread to post whatever might come up with 3dsm7 and maybe show a little progress along the way.
But incase anyone wants to know the question was...
What are the differences in the 3d studio max versions, is there that much of a difference and what version should I be using if there is?

I've created this small roman style building first thing Ive created besides a box.

It very rough, nothing fancy and I've just about figured out textures I think.

Ok I made this structure this morning after watching Eric Maslowski's first 3 videos.

Still not a pro yet lol but hey Im not staring at the screen confused as hell anymore, or atleast not as much.
