Hi all,

I've come back to a project having been away from it for a while and my character's rig is acting strange. When I click on the main positional armature, the character jumps to a new position...yet I notice that it's positional coords seem to stay the same? I know that's not a lot to go by but hey I'm desperate!

Has anyone got ANY idea as to what might cause that kind of behaviour?

Edit: It only happens on some frames...eg 235, then if I create a key at that frame it's fine...Almost as if there are hidden frames that are activated when I select the armature?? I've tried it with auto key create/update to no avail.....

So, some more clues....Say my current frame marker is on frame 200. If I click on his left arm armature, it works fine and if I look at the 'Motion Block', I see that it's key 35 and the frame is 200 (as you'd expect right?). Same thing for the main body armature on frame 200 (says key 42, frame 200). Now for frame 200, if I click on the Right arm armature, it throws the arm out badly. Here when I look at the motion block, it says frame 225, despite the fact that the current frame marker is on 200. There is no KF at 225??

Boy this is frustrating!

Is posting to yourself a bad sign?

So, it turns out to be those bl**dy inactive KF's causing grief again! I am so fed up of them! I'm sure they can be useful to some (I've never actually used them) BUT when they work against you they are sooooooo frustrating!

I beg you PMG, please have a simple tick box option in the next version that disables inactive KF's from EVER being made. Please!
