Title: Servantsroom
Name: Sven Dännart
Country: Germany
Software: Lightwave 3D
I did this image using some photos from the rooms of Castle Neuschwanstein (Bavaria, Germany) as reference. Rendered with Lightwave8 (3 Arealights, no Radiosity). Rendertime was about 20minutes. Hope you like it, thanks for viewing.

Hi, I like the overall picture and the mood, the modeling was done nicely, and the only two things that I kind of dislike are the texture map of the cabinet in the RHS corner of the room and the material you used on the candles (it's way too bright, there is even a glow around, which is not quite realistic)
Good job all in all

except for that cabinet, all your wood surfaces are beautiful. I noticed your wallpaper doesn't meet at the corner correctly though

Yes, the wood on the table and chairs is very good.
I get a feeling from this that the image was taken with a flash camera...the lighting on the nearest chair has that look to it.
My first thought on seeing this was how come the the table is so small? What use would a medieval home have for one so small, you are not going to get four people eating around this easily :)
