Title: Insane scientist
Name: Thomas Kleylein
Country: Germany
Software: Maya, mental ray, Photoshop, ZBrush

This guy is part of an animation called Paradox. It was a term project at my university FH-Mainz. My goal was to tell a little story about a mad scientist who was faced with himself in a timetravel paradox.

I wanted to train my facial-animation knowledge. he was modelled, rigged, skinned and textured in maya. i also painted a zbrush displacement map for him.

one of the biggest challenges was the phonetic lipsync. This was acomplished by using several blend shapes.
