Now I think that grasshoppers movements are little better and next I make it to turn, so I can test legs: Link to animation is there above......
I have collected insects quite a lot, and I have grasshoppers. I know that they make sounds to moving backlegs to wings, antennas move all the time, but if I make grasshopper move just like in real life, his movements could be so quick that viewer cant see it all. So if I want real movement I could only render various poses and put them a row? Better if I could somehow explain that this is slow motion picture?

First part ready. Grasshopper standing on the leaf, and now I make fly to drop front of the grasshopper. Not realistic, fly weights a lot.
It is nice if I got some feedback. This is my first attemt to make a longer animation with Lightwave.

Where I can find reference movies about grasshoppers or insects. is there tutorials somewhere?
hi!
it's look good!
Now u can try to work the animation's timing and posing.
I'm not good in english so i can't all explain sorry.
But the 1rst problem is the animation of ur Grasshopper walk. It's look to slide...
then, maybe u can remake the timing of ur animation to give an animation more dynamic.
Sorry to don't help but i'm new in 3D animation... but i can sse what look wrong.
good luck... maybe a pro will can help u. :)

I rendered whole 500 frames again and made some changes, textures and lights and movements. Perhaps it is now little better?
